One more quick 3x3...

Another cute card I got to make at our meeting...
This is is using Bermuda Bay and Whisper White cardstock. We ran it though a new Stampin' Up! Texturz plate whose name escapes me at the moment. The raised image was lightly colored with Stampin' Pastels to make it pop! EZ.

Beautiful demo swap!

Isn't this card gorgeous? The colors are rich yet warm. This was a surprisingly simple card to make. We stamped the image from a new Hostess set in Black Stazon and then watercolored two colors: Old Olive and the new in-color Rich Razzleberry. The cs is Rich Razzleberry and this is the new polka dot ribbon of the same color. To make this square, scalloped card we used the large square scallop die for the Big Shot. It is very cool and is on my wish list!

Compliments to the Chef!

Don't think this photo does this card justice! I'm thinking of framing it and putting it in my dining room. Got this at my upline meeting on Sunday-thank you Kivonne and Sharon! Sharon made these and Kivonne had extra time to make us samples :)

The new Texturz plate Perfect Details was used for the background embossing and I love it! If you have a Big Shot or Sizzix machine this 3.95 texture plate is a must have! The set used was "Compliments to the Chef" (page 127 in the new SU! catty) and was stamped on brushed silver cs and then embossed with silver embossing then cut out and raised with Stampin' Dimensionals. I think it came out great!

Stamp Camp Teaser

Don't get too excited... two consecutive posts? Okay, my goal for the month is to post at least every third day but I needed to get a note out about Stamp Camp so thought I'd post one of the cards we'll be making. The set used here was Three Little Words. I love this set... not only is it only 13.95 but in addition to the beautiful "Three little words" stamp is also comes with the flower and 6 other three words sentiments! Awesome! In addition to that you could always add your own three words from other sets. I also used three new papers... Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and the Razzleberry Lemonade DS

In addition to the card, I wanted to get a photo up about what to expect for the ribbon share - got the idea from one of my uplines, the great Sharon. She has it packaged so cute it made it real easy to click a photo so I could get it on right away! I have to admit that the quality of the photo stinks though and I couldn't get it rotated (sigh). Anyway, the recap is: Get 3 yards of each of the new in-color polka dot ribbon for $15. A great way to try all the new colors and then if you absolutely love one or two then you could get more on your own! I need a minimum of 5 people to participate so let me know ASAP if you are interested. As soon as I get 5 I will order.

Dog-gone great!

Hello! Wanted to share a 3 x 3 that I made for one of our favorite staff members at school. She is the best!! Anyway, I was excited to use this image from the Teacher's Pet set and was equally excited to see if remain in the current Stampin' Up! catalog. The DSP and the alphabet are retired so I need to get on it and make some current samples don't I? Cute and easy.
Hope your summer is going well and you are carving time out for yourself to make some cards or scrapbook! We all need a break from the heat sometimes right?

In case you missed these...
