Summer wedding!

Boy, I really need to get a good spot to photograph my cards! Again, not the best of photos. Oh well... Here is a quick and easy card that I made minutes before the wedding. Why do I (we) wait until the last minute? I was trying to match the colors and look of their wedding invitation. I used Safari Sand which I ran though the Big Shot with the Stampin' Up! Texturz plate "Perfect Details." I stamped the Mr. & Mrs. with Close to Cocoa and Safari Sand inks on Whisper White. The "Together Forever" is in Ruby Red. The cardstock I layered underneath and also scalloped with the new in color Soft Suede (love it!). The ribbon is Soft Suede polka dot grosgrain. If I had more time I would have embossed the mr. and mrs. for an added pop. I'll save that for another wedding :) This would be a quick and easy Stamp a Stack card-what do you think?
The set I used and LOVE is "Together Forever", find it on page 49 in the SU! Idea Book and Catalog.

Pizza anyone?

Okay, I call this Kivonne's pizza box because she's the one who shared it with me! Thanks! This was one of the stamp camp projects from 7/28 (the rest of the photos came out terrible so I'll post those a different day). I switched the box up a bit and used So Saffron for the box and Tea Party DSP with Regal Rose 5/8 in. grosgrain. Other cards stock colors were Pretty in Pink, Almost Amethyst and Certainly Celery. The monogram is from Lovely Letters and the set on the 3x3s is Only Ovals punched with the large scallop and the oval scallop. This is a fun and easy project! We put these two cards in it but you could put almost anything in it and make it any season too! Great gift idea! It's a good thing. I credit Martha for that... :0)
FYI: Orders from the Stamp Camp should be in by Friday!

Just Jawing... one more

Hello! Here's another offering from the Just Jawing stamp set. I just love this set and I'm glad to sub out the heart eyes since I'm bought this set for scrapbooking and cards for my boys. I've used the "you rock" sentiment in this set quite a bit too! This is a card I made for one of my nephew's birthdays. Unfortunately, some of the papers and the roller are retired but it's still a great idea! For his bandana I used a piece of going gray and added the marks with the edge of my basic black ink pad. His eyes were drawn in with a black stampin' write marker and then I added Crystal Effects to make them pop. The "happy o' birthday" if from the "On Your Birthday" set that is sooooo versatile! A must have for birthday cards and page

I'll be posting the projects we made at Stamp Camp last week soon! Until next time...
